Every client that comes to us is unique. This underpins our philosophy in how we manage our client's needs. We have to provide a set of services to meet a particular client's specific set of circumstances, so flexibility is critical.
Our
first meeting with you will involve a confidential discussion to understand
your plans and requirements, or the business problem that you are experiencing.
Once we have a good idea of the situation, we will decide if it is within
our field of expertise to assist you.
The confidential nature of our business and its criticality to a client's success means that we choose our clients carefully. For instance, we will not represent two companies that are direct competitors, as this may raise conflict of interest issues.
The quality of the service we provide is of paramount concern, so we only take on a small number of representations at one time.
Our fee structure is simple and tailored to suit the type of work involved.
Obviously, we are in business for the same reasons as you - to maximize revenue.
If we are working on a 'business assistance' project or contracted to perform a specific piece of work, such as write a report or conduct research, we will quote on a project basis for time and materials.
In circumstances where RainForest acts as your local representative or sales agent, we structure our fees in a 'win-win' approach, which means our earnings are tied to performance - if you are successful, so are we.
Our
basic costs are covered by charging a small retaining fee and working out
a suitable monthly expense budget. Where possible we share the expenses between
our clients, helping to reduce the overall cost to any one client. This means
that if we are conducting business for several clients on one business trip,
the costs are shared proportionally. Finally, we take a commission on all
sales generated by ourselves directly or the channel we have installed untill
such time as the accounts are handed over to you.
Overall, RainForest manages its fees to maintain a level similar to the salary that you would expect to pay a good sales manager. Obviously, RainForest will be a great deal less expensive, as your company will not be 'employing' a full time sales manager and have to bear the hidden costs associated with a full time employee.
